Uganda’s Ambassadors at this year’ s CAF Confederation Cup Sports Club Vipers has this morning jetted out of the country to Comoros for their return leg of the Confederations cup preliminary round against Club Volcan De Moroni.
According to an official communication from the 2015/16 Uganda Cup winners (defeated Onduparaka 3;0), A total of 18 players and six officials leaft for Moroni the capital of Comoros aboard flight KQ via Nairobi this morning at 9am.
“Eighteen players and six officials have left the country this morning going to Moroni to play the return leg of the Confederations cup preliminary round against Club Volcan De Moroni” read part of the communication.
“ Among the 18 includes Brian Nkuubi and Alfred Leku are the new additions having missed the home tie while Ibrahim Kayiwa and Brian Kakaire have been dropped from the team” the communication added.
Lawrence Mulindwa’s boys (SC Vipers) will battle it out with Club Volcan De Moroni this Saturday Feb-18-2017 at Stade de Moroni at 3pm Ugandan time.
Vipers’ opponents ‘Club Volcan De Moroni’ forced a barren draw in the first leg of this fixture played at Namboole last Saturday. Richard Wasswa’s Coached Vipers will either seek a win or a draw with goals to advance to the next round.
