The NRM electoral commission Chairman Dr Tanga Odoi yesterday described the Members of Parliament under the NRM umbrella as people who need further academic polishing.
This was because of the way they conducted themselves during the just concluded NRM primaries for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) that were organized at State House in Entebbe.
“All along I thought that for one to became a Member of Parliament, they should poses at least a senior six certificate but now it has come to my understanding that most NRM MPs don’t even pose PLE results. ” Odoi said, directing this to Justine Kasule Lumumba the NRM Secretary General because she kept on encouraging fellow NRM members to vote for the opposition member a thing Odoi never agreed with.
Odoi went ahead to say that if the ruling party continues to have such corrupt, incompetent and unreasonable members, they will lead the country to shame and eventually to the down fall of the NRM party.
