Party animals over the weekend on Saturday evening stormed Atmosphere bar and lounge in Kololo to attend the much anticipated “ Silent Disco”.

For starters, Silent Disco is a large tent where different DJs simultaneously pump music into the audience straight through headphones. The whole thing makes for a surreal (but super cool) experience which has become unique to the people in town.

There is usually nothing common between the Silent Disco sets except the fun atmosphere they create. “Previous editions have seen DJ playing anything,” said the organisers. “Rock, techno, dubstep, reggae, drum and bass, disco, if it makes you dance, then it works!”

And this was experienced last week during the first edition on Saturday at Atmosphere bar and lounge in Kololo as the party was well attended with all slay queens from all parts of  the town came to grace the event which was organized by  spinny events didn’t disappoint as some of the celebrities like McKenzie, The Mith Salvador, Bebe Cool, and weasel were present to part all that night.

Slay kings and queens showed all their dance movies listening to their different style of music while other partygoers could still watch while seated in the lounge. Revellers also get free popcorn and WiFi.

With the popular alternative music style, silent Disco is set to return with its another fan during the second edition dubbed “New Year’s Edition” on 30th December and preparations for a weekend of great music are now in full swing. The event was sponsored by Singleton.
