Over the weekend, Miss Tourism Uganda made a stopover in Mbarara the land of milk, in a bid to discover the beautiful lady that will represent the Western region at the National level.
The 22-year-old Anita Ayebare from Sheema district was crowned Miss Tourism Ankole in a competition which involved nine ladies all vying for top spot to represent the region.
At show which was held at Lake View Hotel in Mbarara, Anita proved her strength and passion through actions. She made both the judges and the crowd fall in love with her catwalks, cultural outfits, the height, the beautiful smile that could leave you wanting to see her more often and the good public expression she had.
Other winners of the night were Ritah Tumuhimbise, 23 years, who came as first runner up and doubled it with a miss popularity award. Deborah Nagasha, 19 years, was crowned the second runner up.
The three will join other finalists from the Eastern, West Nile, Northern and the Karamoja regions at the Grand Finale that will be held on 21st of October 2017 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
