National Social Security Fund (NSSF) adds salt to the injury as it orders business man Sudhir Ruparelia to settle a fine of shs 39 billion over failure to remit Crane bank employee’s saving contribution fund.

NSSF confirmed through a compliant audit when a whistle blower provided details of the bank deliberately absconding information on remuneration of it’s non-Ugandan workers.

This comes up immediately after the Bank Of Uganda filed a suit against Sudhir Ruparelia on Thursday July 13,2017 to recover $93.9 and Shs 60.3 billion plus free hold titles of crane bank. The bank also instructed MMAKS Advocates and AF Mpanga advocates to represent crane bank.
