The National Resistance Movement (NRM) and it’s henchmen have worked so hard to get article 102b out of their way before the 2021 elections so that their master and chairman can continue to rule this great nation forever.
This is the same thing they did way back in 2005 right before the 2006 general elections when they abolished the term limit. The NRM president H.E Yoweeri Kaguta Museveni has now turned this into a sport game on how to make the constitution of 1995 a useless work of the architects and indeed the president’s efforts are now being backed up by most NRM Members of Parliament.
We can reliably reveal that some NRM MPs have already received UShs800 million each to support the president’s scheme to amend article 102(b) of the Ugandan constitution that imposes age limit as eligibility criteria for president Museveni. Our sources intimated to us that at least 150 MPs have already been paid their booty.
The remaining MPs who were not considered loyal by the architects of the “project” will be paid during the course of this week. The money which was picked from the office of the president at Parliament Avenue last week was being handled by Molly Kamukama, David Bahati, Anite, Ogwang and Natasha Karugire, the daughter of the president. An NRM MP who is a beneficiary of the payment told us hours ago that they are watching to see the citizen reaction to their resolution before moving ahead with the independent member’s bill. The member expressed worries about potential violence that could target individual MPs that are taking the money, our source disclosed.
