Nile Special Rugby Premier League starts today

By Solomon Mutebi

The Betway Kobs will be eager to cut Heathens’ lead at the expense of Makerere Impis in the Rugby premier league today at Legends.

Heathens, who will play Sadolin Mongers a day later (Saturday) have a 10 points cushion clear of Kobs and Pirates.

A victory for Kobs will cut the margin to seven points as they hope that mongers cause a setback to Heathens title aspirations.

Kobs, who survived a late fight back from Rhinos in their last outing (23-22) will be hoping for a better show today.

The league reigning champions had to hold onto their breath until the last whistle of the game after a fine start to the encounter.

For the Hima cement Heathens’ they will be hoping to stretch their lead atop of the table.

Whereas the mongers will be looking forward to snapping their three game losing skid against the table toppers.

Mongers are the only side who gave the heathens a running nose in the first round having strolled past the other chasing pack.

Betway Kobs v Makerere Impis Legends 5pm
Hima Heathens v Sadolin Mongers Kyadondo 4:30pm
Black Pirates v Shell Rimula Rhinos Legends 4:30pm
Rams v Warriors Makerere 4:30pm
