Evelyn Atim is a model currently signed under Joram Modeling Agency. She was once a contestant of the annual Miss Tourism Beauty Pageant. She is also working with Little Miss Uganda, a pageant for the little ones. She talked to Nathan Atiluk about Modeling and her social life.
How would describe yourself for us?
I am Evelyn Atim aged 22 years old; I went to St. Mary’s college Lugazi and also pursued a Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).
What inspired you to join modeling?
It was in 2012 when I started doing modeling in my first year at campus and my break through was in 2015 when I joined the Miss Tourism Beauty Pageant, but the reason why I joined was because I am a lady with a vision, knowledge about tourism that I also wanted to be the voice of others and the need to embrace culture diversity.
How did you feel when you took part in the consent?
Ofcourse I felt good and excited like any one in my shoes could do. And for sure this proved to me that God almighty had answered my prayers.
Talk about your experience in Beauty Pageants?
I have befriended people both at International and National level. Most of them like me because am so ambitious and I go for what is mine and fight till the last bit.
What life lessons have you got from modeling?
As a model I am now exposed to the different cultures around the world and also learnt to relate with all types of people both young and old. I have also learnt how to respect them.
What are some of the shows you have modeled at?
As a model I have worked with Malengo-hot pink catwalk, Xenson show, Genesis night and Abryans among other.
Are you singed to any modeling agency?
Yes, I am signed to Joram Model Management.
Besides, modeling what do you in your free time?
Besides modeling, I train models both adults and young, sometimes I volunteer with Island mission Uganda I am also an events host , u have hosted events like Kadanke, Miss University Uganda and Miss tourism among others.
