Musician Ronald Maro over the weekend returned to town to a receptive audience at the Liquid silk Nalya for Unplugged season two show that happens every Wednesday of the week.
This is Maro’s first ever big show in town this year, the show started a little bit late because of some curtain raisers that had to perform.
Revelers were treated top unforgettable experience last night, Some even though he would not show up, but after few minutes Maro hit the stage, alongside his dancers and the band.
He did amazingly well, making the long wait worth it. He performed several songs starting with his old hits like Genda Ewamwe, Baibe, and Raising Star, but later switched to his latest releases like Mubbi Bubbi and Nziranago and Ninze” one of the tracks from his “Atwoki” album.
As fans danced and sang along to the mellow voice of the “Atwooki” singer, the cake was cut for Badru Ntege – one of the Liquid Silk Directors.
“I am grateful for the support and love you guys showed us, Many people see me on stage holding the microphone, but it is thousands that hold me up. I will always respect that,” he said during an interview.
The next edition of Unplugged Sn 2 is next Wednesday 24th. Aziz Azion, another talented performer will hit the stage at Liquid Silk Nalya.
