Five games lined up the Uganda premier league returns with Ondupraka hosting Bright Stars at Green light stadium

Uganda’s Top tier football league Uganda premier League (UPL) will this evening return in action with five games lined up at different ground.

According to a communication from the league running body secretariat, BUL FC under the management of Frank Video Anyawu will host Kirinya Jinja SSS in what is referred to as the Jinja derby.

Bul FC enter this game placed 15th on the log of 16 teams with only 16 points collected from 19 games well as visitors Kirinya Jinja SSS  is placed 14th  with also 16 points  collected from the same number of games but has a good goal difference  of negative 4 compared to Bul’s negative 8.

Elsewhere at Namboole stadium coach Ibrahim Kirya’s Uganda Revenue Authority FC will visit Sadolin Paints in Kirya’s first Azam Uganda Premier League game on the URA bench

Coach Samadu Musafiri’s boys of Sadolin enter this game placed 12th with 20 points from 19 games just four points from the relegation zone well as the tax collectors are 5th with 27 points and a 14 points difference with table leaders KCCA FC which has 41 points.

The 4 times Azam Uganda premier league defending champions (URA FC) enters this game in search for Maximum three points however, the fact is that the tax collectors have beaten Sadolin only once in five league outings.

Others in action are Proline, fresh from a goalless draw with SC Villa, against JMC Hippos at Lugogo well as UPDF’s The Saints will host Uganda Police at the Champions Stadium in Matugga, and Arua’s Onduparaka will entertain Bright Stars at the Green light stadium in Arua.
