Express – Police in Action as UPL Lines up Five Games

Uganda’s Top tier football league Uganda premier League (UPL) will this evening return in action with five games lined up at different ground.

According to a communication xrated has received from the league running body secretariat, Soana Football Club will host Jinja Municipal Counsel Hippos FC at Kavumba Recrearion Centre in a Battle of wounded lions. Soana under the leadership of their new head coach Alex Isabirye who replaced George lutalo last week will be seeking to recover from a 2-0 loss they suffered against URA last week at Meta Stadium well as the jinja based JMC hippos also come into this fixture on the back of a 1-0 loss to Sadolin suffered at Kakindu stadium.

Soana enter this game placed 9th on the log of 16 teams with only 25 points collected from 19 games well as visitors JMC Hippos is placed at the bottom of table (16th ) with just 8points collected from 21 games

At Wankulukuku stadium coach Matia Lule’s Express football club will host Coach Abdullah Mubiru’s Police FC in a clash of the middle table placed team.

Express enter this game placed 7th with 27 points from 19 games which is a 14 points difference with table leaders KCCA FC which has 41 points well as the law enforcers are 10th with 24 points.

Elsewhere at Mandela National Stadium Namboole 11th placed Sadolin Paints Football Club (with 23 point) will entertain 13th Lweza FC with 21 points well as at Champions Stadium-Matugga  the UPDF side The Saints FC will host Uganda premier league record champions Sports Club Villa.
