Cranes new coach names the Squad to play 2018 Chan Competitions

The Uganda cranes coach Sebastien Desabre has today morning named his 23 men squad that will participate in the 2018 Chan competitions in morocco after falling 1-0 in an international friendly match with Congo Brazzaville that was played in morocco yesterday. The French born coach dropped two attacking midfielders that is Tom Masiko and Mustafa Kizza. The coach said that after the 1-1 build up against Guinea and 1-0 against Congo Brazzaville, his now aware of what his players can offer.

Uganda cranes will have their first step of the Chan competitions in Zambia come January 14th. Namibia and Ivory Coast are the other teams in Uganda’s pot. While 8 KCCA Fc players led by strikers Derrick Nsibambi and Muhammad Shaban where not dropped by the cranes coach. The cranes have failed to make it past the group stages in the 3 previous editions and so the coach will now have a task to lead the cranes team to the knock out round.
