CAF appoints Sudanese referees to officiate KCCA FC- Al Masry Game

Confederation of Africa Football refereeing appointment committee has appointed Mahmood Ali Mahmood Ismail a Sudanese referee to officiate the Kampala Capital City Authority FC’s first leg CAF confederation game against Egypt’s Al Masry.

According to a communication from the continental football body, Mahmood Ali Mahmood Ismail will be assisted by Waleed Ahmed Ali and Mohammed Abdallah Ibrahim as first and second assistant referees respectively

The communication adds that the return leg the will be played in a weeks’ time will be officiated by a Tunisian referees Youssef Essrayri who will be center referee assisted by Jridi Faouzi and Marwene Saad as assistant referees.

Mike Mutebi’s boys take on this Egyptian side in the first leg of the Total CAF Confederations Cup this Saturday 8th April at Phillip Omondi Stadium before traveling to Cairo for the return leg in a weeks’ time.

The Uganda Champions reached this stage after losing to Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions 3;2 on aggregates having lost 2;1 in south Africa and making a 1- all in Uganda.

A winner between the two teams after playing a home and away will progress to the CAF confederation group stages where sixteen teams will be group into four groups.
