Brotherhood Futsal Club lifts Inaugural Futsal championship

Brotherhood futsal club lifted the inaugural clubs championship that took place yesterday (Monday, December 26 -Boxing Day) at the Champions Futsal Arena in Busega.

Brotherhood defeated Viga futsal club 5:3 in a very competitive final thanks to goals Ssepuya Muzafaru who netted a hat trick (3 goals), Kabanda Badru and Katongole Herbert each  scoring  one goal to add to five.

On the other side Ssemakula Geoffrey scored twice for his side Viga Futsal Club well as Ndawula Willy netting the other to make it three which wasn’t enough to stop Brotherhood from taking the trophy home.

According to a communication Xrated has seen signed by Hamza Jjunju the Chief Executive Officer of Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) the event was aimed at creating awareness promoting the game in Uganda as one of the Competitions.

Brotherhood FC’s Male Arnold won the best goalkeeper award well as Bagimu Futsal Club’s Ssemakula Abdul bagged the top scorer award and Ssekyewa Godfrey also from Brotherhood FC scoped the Most Valuable Player Award (MVP)

A total of eight teams participated in this one day long championship dubbed as the 2016 Futsal Revamped Boxing Day Challenge.

Bagimu Futsal Club, Seeta Galacticos Futsal Club, FAU,  Oldies Futsal Club, Sema Futsal Club , Sona Futsal Club, Brotherhood Fustal Club and Viga Futsal Club
