If you were wondering if you’re once used to be best music duo died a natural death, you should wonder no more. Benon and Vamposs will be making a comeback at the Reggae Edition of Roast and Rhyme.
Besides music,Barbeque lovers in Uganda are set to enjoy yet another unforgettable fun-filled experience. According to organizers’ Swangz Avenue, the next edition of the Bell Lager sponsored event dubbed “Reggae Nyam Nyam” is slated for 12th March 2017.
Highlighted by a blend of great live music performances, beer, fashion, flair and mouthwatering BBQ, the reggae themed event will be graced by Ife the poet, Bebe Cool, Benon and Vamposs.
Due to the success of the previous edition, Roast and Rhyme has risen to become one of the highly-anticipated activities on Kampala’s social calendar.
Bebe Cool for one had a big last year, churning out hits like Kabulengane, Azina Aseka and Sente and going on to have a successful concert.
Held by the lakeside, Roast and Rhyme starts early in the afternoon and provides friends and family a scenic atmosphere to unwind as they listen to great music. The event will again be held at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo and tickets will soon be available for purchase.
Time to dust off those braais and grills and prepare to drive down to Munyonyo on March 12th. We certainly will be there, will you?
