It is no longer news that American reggae siblings Morgan heritage will be performing in Kampala come April 13. The news came out last year about the Reggae band coming to Uganda for their first time in a concert that will take place at the vast Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
Swangz Avenue being the brains behind the five brothers performing in Kampala, they held a press conference yesterday at Cooper Chimney Restaurant to announce their latest developments of the Morgan Heritage performance in Uganda.
The group which is comprised of Morgan Hertage is comprised of Peter Morgan, Una Morgan, Gramps Morgan, Lukes Morgan and mr Mojo Morgan is expected to jet in here in April during the Easter season.
Unconfirmed reports have also included that the Morgan Heritage band are in talks with the Kingdom of Buganda to perform at the Kabaka’s 62nd Birthday party which will be a few days before the Lugogo show. If both parties agree on the terms and payments, there will be lucky people to watch the group perform twice.
The Morgan Heritage brother are famous for songs like “Down by the River” , ” a man is still a man” , “Don’t haffi dread” amongst others with entrance tickets ranging from 50k to 120k VIP section.
The event sponsored by Africell, Bell Lager and Buzz Events will also have several local reggae musicians perform on the same event.
