Bebe Cool’s Katono video causes mixed reactions, who was he attacking?

By Nathan Atiluk

Gagamel boss Moses Ssali commonly known by his stage Bebe Cool  at the end of the week dropped new dancehall tune dubbed ‘Katono’ .  Bebe Cool has been releasing a lot of new videos but but Katono is the latest song he has released.

Katono is a luganda word which means small and it’s a dancehall tune guaranteed to make everyone dance away to every beat of the song.

In dance hall anthem, Bebecool says that; ‘”you borrow money to wed your wife but instead the lender takes off with your wife. “Its small claim ownership of something BIG yet borrowed”

The song has proud mixed reactions among the fans with many people wondering who the dreadlocked singer was attacking because by the lyrics, it was proof he was directly throwing jibes at someone we are yet to findout.

The song’s message is all about being content with the title things in our lives as opposed to flossing with borrowed stuff or worse still living beyond our means all in the name of impressing society. It further discouraged endless borrowing to satisfy society’s demand at the expense of one’s future.

Katono was recorded in Kampala-Uganda {East Africa), written by Black Skin, Produced by Eno Beats, Video shot by Sasha Vybzy and Mastered/Mixed by Ohopa Inc.
