After the resignation of Ali Sekatawa as the club president, Uganda Revenue Authority football club (URA FC) has appointed former director of marketing James Kiiza as their club chairperson.

According to our sources from the tax collector’s camp, Ali Sekatawa who has served in the clubs top office for six years stepped down because he acquired a job from another Authority.
“Sekatawa has been our chairman for six years since 2010 but resigned because he got a new job in a newly formed Authority. This automatically stops him from being our leader”
“He was appointed Director Legal and Corporate affairs in the Petroleum Authority of Uganda” our source revealed to Xrated.co.ug through a phone interview.
Asked why the 2013/14 Uganda Premier league and 2016 Mapendunzi Cup (East Africa) winners appointed Kiiza James a URA employee, he revealed “according to Article 12(g) of the URA FC constitution, URA Football Club Chairman, treasurer and secretary must be filled by URA Staff
