Uganda premier league giants Kampala Capital City Authority football club and sports club Vipers have picked up vital away wins in the two Azam Uganda Premier League games played yesterday

Experienced Striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma scored the only goal that gave the Kasasiro boys (KCCA FC) as they are commonly referred to as the 1-0 victory over the UPDF side ‘The Saints’ at the Champions stadium well as In Jinja, former league champions who are currently the Uganda cup defending champions SC Vipers came from a goal down to win 2-1 against Bul FC.
Villa Oromchan opened for Bul FC in the 37th minute, Aggrey Madoi netted an equalizer for the visitors through a penalty converted in the 57th minute before Midfielder Brian Nkuubi scored a late winner to give Viper the required three points.
With yesterday’s three points the Uganda champions KCCA maintain their lead at the league summit with 41 points while the loss leaves Moses Basena’s boys of The Saintsin the 11th position on the 16-team table with 21 points well as Vipers displaces Arua’s Onduparaka from the 3rd position despite being on same points 32 but Richard Waswa’s boys having a better goal difference (Vipers has positive nine well as Onduparaka has negative 4).
The league resumes this evening (Saturday) with two games lined up. 10th placed Proline FC will hosts 2nd placed SC Villa at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo well as 13th Sadolin Paints FC will entertain 7th Bright Stars at the Mandel National Stadium, Namboole.
