​Four Ugandan Referees appointed for CAF Duties 

Confederation of Africa Football refereeing appointment committee has this afternoon appointed four Ugandan referees to officiate   the El-Hilal’s (Sudan) first round stage game against Port Louis (Mauritius) in the CAF Champions league.

According to a communication our reporter has seen from CAF Dennis Batte will be the Center Referee, Musa Ngobi Balikoowa and  Dick Okello will be the  first  and second Assistants respectively well as Mashood Ssali will be the 4th Official.

“Four FIFA Referees from Uganda have been appointed to handle the El-Hilal (Sudan) versus Port Louis (Mauritius) CAF Champions League game” read part of the communication sent to FUFA.

“Center Referee will be Dennis Batte , Assistant Referee 1 Musa Ngobi Balikoowa, Assistant Referee 2 Dick Okello and 4th Official: Mashood Ssali well as the match Commissioner will be  Ahmed Auda Ahmed from Egypt” the communication added 


The Sudanese football giants El-Hilal take on Port Louis from Mauritius in the first leg of the Total CAF Champions League on the 12th March 2017 at Omdurman El Hilal Stadium before Port Louis hosting the return leg (second leg) in two week time.

Winner between these two clubs will automatically qualify to the group stages of this competition where sixteen clubs will be grouped into four groups of four teams.
